Please circulate this list so it is available to all members of your staff, particularly those without access to email, and please inform people inside and outside the agency who might be interested in these positions. A new open position memo is issued every Friday. The field of service in which there is a current opening available is either listed under one of the seven Region Ten service centers (Access and Case Management; Adult Clinical Services; Adult Developmental Services; Adult Rehabilitation Services; Child and Family Services; Rural Services; and Quality Improvement and Standards), Administrative Services or Medical Services.

Benefits are available for all salaried positions and for hourly positions that are regularly scheduled for 20 or more hours per week. Access to auto, valid Virginia Driver’s license, and proof of insurance and current DMV driving record are required for all positions that involve transporting consumers.

ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES

IT Programmer

Seeking a motivated programmer familiar with the .NET environment (VB and or C#) for a small IT team. Preferred candidate must have high initiative and be able to multitask. Ability and eagerness to learn new IT skills is crucial. Individual must be flexible and have strong teamwork skills. College degree in an IT-related field or equivalent experience and certification is required. Experience with network engineering is a plus. Candidate will be expected to participate in rotating support of department's applications and hardware. Salary negotiable.

CENTER FOR ACCESS AND CASE MANAGEMENT

Case Manager

Professional level position with responsibility for providing case management
services, primarily to adults recovering from serious mental illness. Duties include assisting individuals in accessing community resources: assessing needs and creating Individual Services Plans: and coordinating services with other providers. Bachelor's degree and one year experience in human services or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Salary is $36,651.41.

CENTER FOR ADULT CLINICAL SERVICES

Clinician, Outpatient

Clinician needed to provide counseling, education, and rehabilitation services to adult clients of Region Ten. Provide individual and group counseling; offer support and crisis intervention; facilitate psychoeducational and support groups; coordinate multiple services; and serve as a liaison to the Mandatory Outpatient team. Master's degree required; must be licensed as a LPC or LCSW, or be eligible for one of these licenses within six months of employment. Salary is $36,651.41.

Clinician, Substance Abuse

Join a team of compassionate professionals providing services to chemically dependent or abusing individuals. Incumbent will be responsible for providing assessment, individual and group counseling, education, and clinical case management to people enrolled in Region Ten SA services. Bachelor's degree required; candidates must possess substance abuse certification, hold a license in a related human services field, or be eligible to have one of these certifications within two years of employment. Occasional evening and weekend hours are required. Salary is $36,651.41.

CENTER FOR ADULT DEVELOPMENTAL SERVICES

Program Manager, Day Support

Meadowcreek Day Support is seeking an energetic and creative person to assist with the operation of a program that provides learning opportunities and community integration for adults with intellectual disabilities. The position requires supervisory experience of direct care staff. The manager will coordinate and develop center-based and community activities; supervise, train, and evaluate staff and oversee the implementation of instruction and behavioral supports. Position includes direct care and assistance with personal care. Minimum of two years experience in related services and Bachelor's degree in a human services field required. Salary is $40,468.78.

CENTER FOR ADULT REHABILITATION SERVICES

MH Support Services II (DRC Live-In)

The Dual Recovery Center is looking for a part-time, live-in peer counselor to manage a DRC residence that houses two males recovering from addiction and mental illness. Duties include monitoring and encouraging healthy behavior in residents, and reporting any issues, needs, or problems to program staff. Will need to be available to check in with residents each morning and evening; up to 12 on-duty hours per week. Free rent and utilities; because this position requires incumbent to share apartment with two male residents, only male applicants will be considered. Hourly rate is $12.11.

MH Support Services II (Step Up; Overnight)

Mental Health Support Services provider needed to work overnight shifts with individuals enrolled in the Step Up supported housing project. Step Up provides housing and rehabilitative supports to people with chronic mental health (and often co-occurring chemical dependence) issues who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Shifts will be eight hours each, and incumbent will be expected to stay awake for all duty hours. Life experience as a person in recovery from mental illness and/or alcohol/drug addiction preferred. Hourly rate is $12.11.

MH Support Services III (Carlton)

Join an organized and thoughtful team of mental health professionals providing support services to individuals recovering from serious mental illness. The MHSS provider crafts individual service plans, provides instruction in daily living skills, assists in acquiring community resources, and offers counseling and support to clients within a supervised apartment program. This position provides an opportunity to help people in recovery reach their goals and become more independent. Applicant must hold a Bachelor's degree in a human services field and have one year experience working with individuals with mental illness (internship/practicum may be included), or have at least four years of direct clinical work experience. Two positions available - both schedules are Tues-Sat, afternoon and evening hours. Salary is $30,924.25; may be negotiable based upon experience and education.

MH Support Services III (IST)

This position provides opportunities for: rich clinical experience working with a diverse population of adults with mental illness in the community; non-traditional work setting; independence with team support; flexibility. Requires: professionalism and flexibility; independence with team spirit; dependability; belief in recovery from mental illness; patience; ability to work with people from a variety of backgrounds; person-centered assessment and service planning skills. Must have, at a minimum, a Bachelor's degree in a human services field with one year of mental health experience. Schedule is Sunday-Thursday. Salary is $30,924.25; may be negotiable based upon education and/or experience.

MH Support Services III (Step Up; Evenings)

Provide mental health support services with Step Up, a new program that will provide rehabilitative and housing supports to individuals with persistent mental illness (often with co-occurring chemical dependence) who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. The MHSS worker will work with each individual to develop their self-care skills training program and to ensure their health and safety while transitioning from homelessness into housing. This is a 20-hour per week position that works evening hours. Must have a Bachelor's degree and one year clinical experience; four years of direct clinical experience; or equivalent combination to meet QMHP standards. Salary at 50% is $15,462.12.

CENTER FOR CHILD AND FAMILY SERVICES

Clinician, Assessment and Diagnostic Services

Behavioral health clinician needed to provide clinically-informed collection and synthesis of information relevant to comprehensive MH/SA assessments of children and adolescents in our new Assessment and Diagnostic Services. Incumbent also responsible for assuring that children/adolescents being assessed are receiving all necessary services during period of assessment. Master's degree in behavioral health field required. Clinical experience with children and adolescents strongly preferred. Salary negotiable, based on experience.

Educational Support Specialist

Make a difference in the life of a school-aged child. Join a dynamic team to provide behavioral coaching and support to at-risk children in this school-based program. Small caseload, ongoing supervision, works closely with teachers and staff. Pre-school, elementary, and middle school openings available. Full-time benefits. A Bachelor’s degree in behavioral sciences or human services or equivalent experience is required. Experience providing mental health services in a school setting is a plus. Salary is $30,924.25.

Service Coordinator

Rewarding 30 hour per week Service Coordinator position with The Infant and Toddler Connection of the Blue Ridge for Charlottesville and surrounding counties. ITCBR provides special education supports and services to infants and toddlers (birth to 3) with special needs and their families. Position requires thorough knowledge of infant/child development, the ability to provide services following complex early intervention special education regulations, and the ability to be a professional member of an interdisciplinary team and work under stringent timelines. Willingness to travel, work in homes and community settings, and with local school systems, therapists, and other professionals. BA/MS in special education or related field and/or meet Part C of IDEA highest standards. Salary at 75% is $27,488.56 with benefits.

CENTER FOR RURAL SERVICES

Clinician, Outpatient (Fluvanna 50%)

Join a growing team in Fluvanna County. Licensed therapist needed in Palmyra to provide mental health counseling to adults and children; experience with couples and families a definite plus. Licensure differential available for LPC and LCSW. Salary at 50% is $18,325.70.

Educational Support Specialist (Fluvanna)

Become a part of an exciting, growing team in Fluvanna County. This position will provide daily therapeutic support to at-risk children in a school setting. Bachelor's degree and one-year experience working with children preferred; combination of education and/or experience to meet Qualified Mental Health Provider standards required. Salary is $30,924.25.

Incumbent will spend most of his/her time in the community, assisting individuals with activities of daily living, accessing community resources, and maintaining their personal health and safety. Bachelor's degree in human services with one year of clinical experience required. Salary is $30,924.25.

Psychosocial Specialist (Nelson)

Horizon House in Nelson County is recruiting for a Psychosocial Specialist. MEDICAL SERVICES

Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist

We are looking for a Child Psychiatrist to share their clinical expertise in providing progressive care to kids in their family context. You will join a multi-disciplinary team of dedicated providers that utilizes a systems of care approach. This is a half-time (20 hour per week) position that is eligible for Region Ten benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance. Staff Physician

Physician needed to provide medication-assisted recovery treatment for individuals with chemical additions. This position includes: evaluation and diagnostic services; consultation to clinical staff around psychiatric and medical issues; and management and prescription of psychotropic medications. Incumbent must have an MD and a license to practice medicine in Virginia. Completion of an accredited residency and eligibility or certification by the American Board of Internal Medicine or equivalent is required. Hourly rate is $49.74.
