As of Wednesday, April 8: 

Since the Stay-at-Home Order issued by the Governor of Virginia, Region Ten has closed all buildings to the public. 

Face to Face Services

We are continuing to provide 24/7 Emergency Services by calling 434-972-1800.  We are also still providing PACT, Town Creek Assisted Living (ALF), ID/DD/MH residential homes, and some face to face psychiatric services using social distancing. 

Telehealth Services

Region Ten is offering telehealth intake and financial screening appointments for virtual outpatient (individual, group, and intensive outpatient) and case management services.

To set up your intake appointment please call your local Region Ten office between 8:30 am – 4:30 pm on weekdays.

Suspended Services

The Women’s Center at Moore’s Creek, the Mohr Center and the Wellness Recovery Center are accepting clients on a limited basis. Please call 434-972-1800 for more information.  

Blue Ridge, Horizon and Friendly Oaks clubhouses and Meadowcreek Center have also suspended face to face services.  Case managers and day program staff are calling and providing support to those consumers in the safety of their homes.

Medicaid Eligibility

People who have lost income as a result of the crisis may now be eligible for Medicaid services. Please visit the Cover Virginia page HERE for information or see the Cover Virginia eligibility screening

Community Resources

The Community Mental Health and Wellness Coalition has put together a short list of ways to promote wellness in times of stress and anxiety HERE as well as other community resources.

Community Resource Hotline provides emergency financial assistance and other resources for households in our catchment area who have been impacted by COVID 19. 434-234-4490.
