Mental Health Awareness Month at Region Ten

May is Mental Health Awareness month, and Region Ten’s Prevention team is coordinating a Wellness Passport to help community members connect with events, trainings, and wellness activities that celebrate mental health.

There are three ways to participate in the Wellness Passport:
1.) Download a Wellness Passport to fill out and then bring completed passport to Region Ten at 800 Preston Ave or 500 Old Lynchburg Road.
2.) Email a picture of your passport or list of your activities to
3.) Document your Wellness activities on Facebook or Instagram with the hashtag #4mind4bodycville. Each activity is one entry into the raffle: More wellness activities= more chances to participate!
All entries are due by Wednesday, May 29, 2019.

Other events and trainings: 

The Art of Resilience and Recovery” is an exhibit that will be featured at Jefferson-Madison Regional Library throughout the month of May. Come see the work of local residents who have created resilience flags to help promote recovery and reduce stigma related to mental health and substance use challenges.
