Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in a human services field to meet the definition of Qualified Mental Health Provider-Adult (QMHP-A), Qualified Mental Health Provider – Child (QMHP-C), or Qualified Intellectual Disability Provider (QIDP).  In addition to the degree, one years related work experience is required.  Positions posted as QMHP-Eligible may consider applicants with less than the required one years related works experience.  Positions posted as QPPMH do not require the bachelor’s degree but do have minimum education and related work experience requirements.  The links below provide additional information from Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services, Office of Licensing website:

Community Services Associate I, PRN Mohr Center

Residential treatment program and sobering up shelter for adult males seeks to fill a full time position with variable hours Monday – Friday 3:30 p.m. – 11:30 p.m., with some weekends and holidays. Incumbent will oversee residents’ medications, complete shelter admissions, monitor vital signs, triage for appropriate medical treatment, monitor consumer withdrawal symptoms and maintain good order in the house.  Position requires staff remain awake, alert, and available during all duty hours, be diligent in completing records and arrange for emergency staff coverage.  Valid Virginia driver’s license and acceptable driving record required.  $23,894.11 annually.

Program Manager II/ Adult Outpatient Services

Region Ten seeks a person with strong clinical and program development skills to fill the critical role of Program Manager.  This person will plan, coordinate and supervise outpatient counseling programs for adults with mental health, substance use and co-occurring disorders.  The incumbent will provide clinical and administrative supervision to a strong team of professional licensed/credentialed and license-eligible staff, assist in the development and implementation of new and existing programs to support evidenced-based practices, assist in developing and monitoring budgets, and carry a small caseload. Program Manager I Residential

Region Ten seeks to fill a position in a residential program serving adults with intellectual disability.  Position will have responsibility for all aspect of 24-hour operations providing client service planning and delivery, assisting with daily activities, facility management, budgeting recordkeeping and staff supervision.  The ability to organize a complex array of integrated services across collaborative teams and manage a large staff in compliance with agency, funding, and regulatory requirements is critical for success.  Bachelor’s degree in human services, four years applicable work experience in human services, including one year of supervision experience, is required.  Must have valid VA driver’s license and acceptable driving record.  $53,288.40 annually.

Residential Nurse Manager I

Newly created position to serve as nurse manager of a congregate residential program for adults with intellectual disabilities.  The position will schedule and supervise staff, requiring the ability to coordinate a complex and comprehensive array of integrated services while modeling professional attitudes and developing and empowering staff to deliver quality programming.  The ability to planning and organization tasks to meet facilities management goals is also required.  Nursing task are performed within the scope of a Licensed Practical Nurse, such as review of medications management charts, consult with staff on consumer medical matters, and assist with linkages with medical provider to enhance client care.  In addition to a current license with VA Board of Nursing as a LPN, one year of supervision experience is required.  Valid VA driver’s license and good DMV driving record required.  Salary negotiable.

Program Coordinator/ Community Residences

Region Ten Community Residences seeks applicants to fill a leadership role in a residential training program serving adults with intellectual disabilities.  Incumbent will serve as a liaison with interdisciplinary teams and sponsored placement partners to develop Instructional Service Plans and recreational projects for individuals receiving services in their homes, and to coordinate services ensuring continuity of treatment strategies and goals with day support and other providers.  Additionally, the position serves to manage facilities by initiating and coordinate services and repairs to maintain homes in a safe and attractive manner, as well as modify environments to respond to residents’ physical and cognitive needs.  Knowledge of assessment and intervention strategies, alternative communication systems, and principles and practices of team development and management by objectives is essential for success.  Bachelor’s degree in a human services field and four years applicable work experience in human services is required.  $38,481.71 annually.

Clinician I/II/III/ PACT

Region Ten is seeking to fill a newly created position on the PACT program serving adults with serious mental illness.  The incumbent is responsible for providing intensive community treatment services to this population.  Work includes thorough assessment of needs, development and implementation of individual service plans, medication management, and training in functional skills such as activities of daily living, social skills, interpersonal relationships, financial management, etc.  Position requires strong organizational and time management skills, excellent writing skills, flexibility, and self-motivation. Must meet certification as Qualified Mental Health Professional – Adult/Eligible (QMHP–Adult/Eligible) as set forth by Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services.  Valid VA driver’s license and acceptable driving record is required.  Supervision for licensure available.

Director of Compliance

Exciting opportunity to lead Region Ten’s Compliance Department! The incumbent will serve as the agency’s primary policy analyst and will manage the agency’s quality assurance and electronic health records staff. Will be responsible for staying current with all statutes, researching impact to the agency, and generating policy and procedure recommendations. Will also provide needs assessment data, planning information, in-house evaluations, and other documents as needed regarding overall agency functioning. Master’s Degree in behavioral health science or related field such as Public Administration, or Business Administration, with five years of professional experience in quality assurance, medical records, utilization review, program planning & evaluation activities and coordination in the area of clinical and/or community services, involving compliance with statutory regulations, or a combination of Bachelor’s Degree, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Community Services Associate III, Crozet 75%

The Crozet team is looking for someone to join them in coordinating and implementing psychosocial rehabilitation techniques for people with serious mental illness in a clubhouse environment.  The CSA III worker will provide assessment and planning services, develop individualized and person centered plans, and will coordinate with team members  in providing supervision and engagement of clubhouse work to support pursuit of goal attainment for the entire membership.  Caseload is weighted toward older persons in a rural setting.  Will need own vehicle to transport consumers.  Must meet QMHP as set forth by the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services.  Hours are Mon-Tues 8:00 – 3:30; Wed-Fri 8:00 – 1:30.  $27297.56 annually

Clinician II/III Part Time, Greene
