Case Manager/Mental Health  

Seeking individual with initiative to join a team of compassionate professionals.  The case manager will provide services to adults with a primary diagnosis of serious mental illness.  Our goal is to  promote recovery and foster independence with each individual we serve.  The incumbent assesses each consumer’s strengths and needs, and develops an individual service plan to include linking to needed services and resources, monitoring, and coordinating services.   Serves as a liaison with consumers, families, and service providers.  Bachelor’s degree in human services field and one years’ related work experience required.  Must meet certification as Qualified Mental Health Professional – Adult ( QMHP  – Adult) as set forth by Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services. Community Services Associate I / Mohr Center, PRN

Residential treatment program and sobering up shelter for adult males seeks to fill a PRN position working rotating shifts, including weekends.  Incumbent will oversee residents’ medications, complete shelter admissions, monitor vital signs, triage for appropriate medical treatment, monitor consumer withdrawal symptoms and maintain good order in the house.  Position requires staff remain awake, alert, and available during all duty hours, be diligent in completing records and arrange for emergency staff coverage.  Valid Virginia driver’s license and acceptable driving record required.  $11.49 hourly.

Community Services Associate III/ Recovery Support *1 Week Internal Recruitment, Position Closes Noon 1/19/18 *

Seeking an individual who is able to establish rapport and provide counseling, emotional support and recovery support services to individuals with SA and/or co-occurring disorders.  Incumbent will also provide support and education to family member and will recruit and provide direct support to recovery coaches working in the program on an hourly basis.  Ability to engage clients, perform outreach, and work effectively with team members.  Bachelor’s degree is preferred.  Personal experience in recovery and 1 – 3 years’ experience in a related field is required.  Certification as a Peer Recovery Specialist is required or required to be obtained within 1 year of employment.  Valid VA driver’s license and good DMV driving record required.  Schedule is Monday – Friday generally 9:00 to 4:30 Monday through Friday with weekend and evening hours as necessary.  $36,396.70 annually.

Direct Support Professional II / Residential

Seeking experienced staff to serve in lead positions working in group home settings with adults with intellectual disabilities. Program Manager II Residential

Region Ten seeks to fill a position in a residential program serving adults with intellectual disability. Position will have responsibility for all aspect of 24-hour operations providing client service planning and delivery, assisting with daily activities, facility management, budgeting recordkeeping and staff supervision. Residential on-call duties are shared among all ADS residential managers in a rotation schedule to prevent the development of extraordinary management burdens. The ability to organize a complex array of integrated services across collaborative teams and manage a large staff in compliance with agency, funding, and regulatory requirements is critical for success. Bachelor’s degree in human services, four years applicable work experience in human services, including one year of supervision experience, is required. Student Assistance Specialist (10-Month Position) /Prevention

 

School-based position providing assessment, support and crisis intervention services focused on short term stabilization, including mental health assessment and clinical interventions. Incumbent will provide behavioral coaching, role-modeling, psycho-education/ skill building, counseling and emotional support to children and families. Will also serve as an outreach specialist providing in-community prevention programs and awareness building activities. This is a ten month position, working mid-August through mid-June. Clinician II/III, Emergency Services

Case Manager / Wellness Recovery Center Specialist, Overnights

Wellness Recovery is a 16 bed short term crisis stabilization program for adults experiencing a mental health crisis.  The primary duties of the overnight QMHP case manager/specialist are to assist with the general care and safety of the residents, to provide supportive interventions as needed, and to assist with some shared, light housekeeping duties.  Must meet certification Qualified Mental Health Professional – Adult (QMHP – Adult) as set forth by Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services. Community Services Associate I / Wellness Recovery Center, Full Time

The Wellness Recovery Center is a short-term residential mental health crisis stabilization center. Residents at WRC are generally high-functioning, delightful individuals experiencing symptoms of stress due to a recent crisis.  Duties include admissions/discharges, hourly checks, some light cleaning and laundry, observation and documentation of consumers’ self-administration of their medications, as well as supportive care to our residents, as needed. Some knowledge of mental health or substance abuse helpful. Standard schedule includes one weekend day or evening shift per week, and usually includes a mix of days and evenings the rest of the week.  Training is provided. Hourly rate is negotiable.

Nurse, LPN or RN, Wellness Recovery Center

Adult residential crisis stabilization program is seeking a VA Licensed RN or LPN.  Primary duties include assisting with admissions, triaging medical issues, supporting fast-paced psychiatrist, and entering medications in E-MAR.  The successful candidate will have great attention to detail, ability to work well within a team, and a love for serving consumers with mental health and substance use issues. Full time position available to work with children, adolescents, adults and their families at Region Ten’s outpatient center located in rural Louisa, Virginia. Incumbent must be skilled and comfortable providing assessment and treatment services to diverse populations. May provide crisis intervention, triage or crisis counseling services.
