Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in a human services field to meet the definition of Qualified Mental Health Provider-Adult (QMHP-A), Qualified Mental Health Provider – Child (QMHP-C), or Qualified Intellectual Disability Provider (QIDP).  In addition to the degree, one years related work experience is required.  Positions posted as QMHP-Eligible may consider applicants with less than the required one years related works experience.  Positions posted as QPPMH do not require the bachelor’s degree but do have minimum education and related work experience requirements.  The links below provide additional information from Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services, Office of Licensing website:

Director, Mohr Center

Region Ten invites enthusiastic, creative candidates to apply for this management position leading Region Ten’s Mohr Center.  The positon will plan, staff, and coordinate services of a residential treatment program and sobering up shelter for adult males.  Incumbent will provide clinical supervision and training to staff, manage administrative and facility functions, and ensure programs components adhere to regulatory guidelines.  Bachelor’s degree and 3 year’s supervisory experience is required.  Master’s degree preferred.  Licensure (LPC/LCSW), CSAC or RN preferred.  Salary negotiable.

Certified Nursing Assistant Meadowcreek Day Services/ Intellectual Disabilities *1 Week Recruitment – Position Closes Noon 5/5/2017*

Direct Care Professional II / Day Services

Assist with coordination and implementation of services training programs for adults with developmental disabilities in day services and community settings.  Provide educational activities and supervision of day program activities, document service delivery, and directly implement individual support plans in center-based and non-center based activities.  Provides systematic trainings in social, behavioral, leisure/recreational, and community living skills, including personal care.  Incumbent will provide direct assistance in brokering community resources and help develop community relationships and explore resource that help individuals identify and purse interests focusing on becoming active members in their community.  Associate’s degree and two years applicable experience preferred.  Must have valid VA driver’s license and acceptable driving record.  Hourly rate negotiable.

Direct Care Professional III / Day Services

This new position provides a great opportunity to work in a day support service for adults with intellectual disabilities supporting full access, participation and community engagement of individuals based on personal choices and interests.  This position provides direct assistance to persons primarily in brokering community resources, helps individuals identify and pursue interests, and explore resources that help them become an active member in the community.  In addition to implementing individual support plans for clients in center-based and community settings, the incumbent teaches new skills; addresses behavior interventions using positive programming and promotes self advocacy in the community.  Some personal care assistance is required.  If you are a high energy, creative person who likes to be on the go and explore new ways to teach others to be active community members, we encourage you to apply!  Four year degree in human services is required, with two years related experience preferred.  Salary negotiable.

Clinician I/II/III Crisis Intervention/Stabilization Clinician PRN

Position works as part of the Child & Family Crisis Stabilization team by providing crisis intervention services to children and families.  Primary duties are to ensure and monitor of the health and safety of clients and provide counseling and support to clients and their families.  This entails maintaining therapeutic relationships and supervising client participation in program routines and community integration activities.  Schedule is PRN and hours will vary and will include evening, weekend and holidays. Program Manager II Wellness Recovery Center
