 QMHP/QIDP/QPPMH

Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in a human services field to meet the definition of Qualified Mental Health Provider-Adult (QMHP-A), Qualified Mental Health Provider – Child (QMHP-C), or Qualified Intellectual Disability Provider (QIDP).  In addition to the degree, one years related work experience is required.  Positions posted as QMHP-Eligible may consider applicants with less than the required one years related works experience.  Positions posted as QPPMH do not require the bachelor’s degree but do have minimum education and related work experience requirements.  The links below provide additional information from Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services, Office of Licensing website:

Direct Care Professional II / Day Services

Assist with coordination and implementation of services training programs for adults with developmental disabilities in day services and community settings.  Provide educational activities and supervision of day program activities, document service delivery, and directly implement individual support plans in center-based and non-center based activities.  Provides systematic trainings in social, behavioral, leisure/recreational, and community living skills, including personal care.  Incumbent will provide direct assistance in brokering community resources and help develop community relationships and explore resource that help individuals identify and purse interests focusing on becoming active members in their community.  Associate’s degree and two years applicable experience preferred.  Must have valid VA driver’s license and acceptable driving record.  Hourly rate negotiable.

Community Services Associate II / Carlton Road, PRN

Transitional residential program providing education and support services to individuals recovering from serious mental illness seeks a dynamic and dedicated candidate.  Be part of a team assisting individuals with apartment and community living skills.  The CSA II provider offers instruction in daily living skills, provides assistance obtaining community resources, monitoring of psychiatric and behavioral status of residents and provides medication management.  This position provides an opportunity to help people in recovery.  Applicant must at a minimum meet certification as Qualified Paraprofessional – Mental Health QPP-MH) .  $13.15 hourly.

Community Services Associate III / Intensive Services Team

The Intensive Services Team is looking for a new member. The position provides a unique caseload and working as a team while offering independence in performing work. The position serves a diverse population of adults with mental illness in the community in a non-traditional setting and requires professionalism, flexibility, dependability, belief in recovery from mental illness, patience and the ability to work with people from a variety of backgrounds. Community Services Associate III / Nunley

Program Manager II/ Family Treatment Court Coordinator, 80%

The incumbent is responsible for overseeing the collaboration among partner agencies in serving individuals jointly involved in substance abuse treatment and the child welfare system.  The coordinator serves as a liaison between providers, agencies, participants and the court related to treatment, and to the development and implementation of program policies, procedures and functions.  Minimum bachelor degree in human service field and demonstrated experience with child welfare and substance abuse treatment preferred.  Position is 32 hours per week with potential for full time.  $42,630.72 annually.  APPLY HERE.

Therapeutic Day Treatment Specialist – Charlottesville Albemarle

Clinician II/III, Emergency Services

This is an extraordinary opportunity in Charlottesville, Virginia for unparalleled skills-growth and creative use of clinical skills! Support Specialist/ Emergency Services PRN

Community Services Associate III, Crozet 75%

Community Services Associate III, Crozet/ Relief as needed

Clinician II/III Part Time, Greene

Clinician with experience and expertise in providing assessment and treatment services to diverse populations of clients.  Position works out of a busy rural outpatient clinic and incumbent must be skilled and comfortable working with adults, children, families, groups and the community to deliver services, including crisis intervention, engaging resistant/ difficult to engage clients, and working with individuals involved in the criminal justice system.  Master’s Degree, required. Direct Care Professional III / Day Services

This new position provides a great opportunity to work in a day support service for adults with intellectual disabilities supporting full access, participation and community engagement of individuals based on personal choices and interests.  This position provides direct assistance to persons primarily in brokering community resources, helps individuals identify and pursue interests, and explore resources that help them become an active member in the community.  In addition to implementing individual support plans for clients in center-based and community settings, the incumbent teaches new skills; addresses behavior interventions using positive programming and promotes self advocacy in the community.  Some personal care assistance is required.  If you are a high energy, creative person who likes to be on the go and explore new ways to teach others to be active community members, we encourage you to apply!  Four year degree in human services is required, with two years related experience preferred.  Salary negotiable.
