Community Services Associate III, Community Based Recovery Support **Internal Recruitment Only**

Seeking an individual who is able to establish rapport and provide counseling, emotional support and recovery support services to individuals with SA and/or co-occurring disorders. Incumbent will also provide support and education to family member and will recruit and provide direct support to recovery coaches working in the program on an hourly basis. Ability to engage clients, perform outreach, and work effectively with team members. Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Personal experience in recovery and 1 – 3 years’ experience in a related field is required. Certification as a Peer Recovery Specialist is required or required to be obtained within 1 year of employment. Valid VA driver’s license and good DMV driving record required. Schedule is full time with weekend and evening hours as necessary.

Engagement Clinician

The incumbent functions as engagement clinician for the Access and Adult Clinical Services of Region Ten, handling engagement activities with consumers enrolled or seeking services within the center.  Duties require proceeding alone under standard practices with referral of questionable situations to the supervisor.  Duties include contacting consumers scheduled for services to identify an barriers to attendance as well as assisting with addressing these barriers;  individual and group therapy and assessment and planning with individuals who are not participating in recommended services;  monitoring consumer engagement in services, as well as referring and linking consumers to agency services and other human service programs.  Knowledge of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Diagnosis and Services, counseling and assessment techniques, community resources, Microsoft Office Suite, interview techniques, and standard office practices and procedures required.  Masters degree and licensed in a related human services field or license-eligible within six months of hire.

Direct Support Professional III/ Meadowcreek, Day Support

Case Manager, Dual Recovery Center

The incumbent will provide counseling and rehabilitation services to individuals with mental health, intellectual disability, or substance problems that are in crisis.  Responsibilities include evaluation, assessment, developing treatment plans, counseling interventions, stabilization, and discharge assessments.  Masters degree in social work or counseling and two years of experience.  Licensure as LCSW, LPC or LCP, or licensure eligible within 6 months of hire.

Community Associate I, Wellness Recovery Center

Senior Director, Adult Developmental Services

Region Ten Community Services Board seeks to fill the position of Senior Director, Adult Developmental Services.  Region Ten CSB, situated in the beautiful foothills of Virginia’s Blue Ridge Mountains, serves adults and children living in the City of Charlottesville and the counties of Albemarle, Greene, Fluvanna, Louisa and Nelson through the provision of mental health, intellectual disability, crisis and substance use services.  As a Sr. Director, the incumbent is an integral part of the Agency’s Leadership Team, establishing policy and services to guide a staff of over 600 working to enrich our community one life at a time.  The position is accountable for the planning, developing, implementing and evaluation of all aspects of Adult Developmental Services.   He/she has budgetary responsibility for Adult Developmental Disability funds received by direct operating day and residential services and contract oversight for some services for some consumers whose day support services are delivered by other day support vendors.  The incumbent is accountable for overall program compliance with program standards, Region Ten personnel policies, state licensing requirements, state and federal regulations and other evaluation measures.  The incumbent participates as a primary resource in short and long range planning and new service development and as a resource to the community on Developmental Disability issues.  Master’s Degree in a human services field with a minimum of 5 years documented experience in developmental Disability program administration is preferred, valid Virginia drivers license required.  Salary Negotiable.

Provide general care essential to caring for personal needs and activities of daily living, such as monitoring vital signs, bathing, dressing, ambulating toileting and conducts social and daily living skills training programs.  Will monitor resident signaling system, participate in checking and stocking monthly medications, and as directed will administer insulin to diabetic consumers and assist with medication management under direction of nursing staff and pharmacists.  One year of direct care work experience in a long term care facility is preferred.  Valid Virginia’s driver’s license and acceptable driving record are required.  Must meet Medicaid-designated Un-Qualified Para Professional (UPP) credential at hire and must meet Qualified Para Professional (QPP) criteria after one year. $24,859.43 annually/ $11.95 hourly.

Food Service Assistant II, Town Creek Assisted Living Facility

Responsible for providing food preparation and service complying with safe food handling techniques.  Will maintain clean food preparation areas and equipment, stock food products and supplies, lifting up to 50 pounds, and interact with residents in a positive manner while adhering to confidentiality policy at all times.  Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions and a knowledge of safe food handling and universal precautions is required.  Valid Virginia driver’s license is preferred. Hourly rate negotiable.
