Seeking individual with initiative to join a team of compassionate professionals.  The case manager will provide services to adults with a primary diagnosis of serious mental illness.  Our goal is to  promote recovery and foster independence with each individual we serve.  The incumbent assesses each consumer’s strengths and needs, and develops an individual service plan to include linking to needed services and resources, monitoring, and coordinating services.   Serves as a liaison with consumers, families, and service providers.  Bachelor’s degree in human services field and one years’ related work experience required.  Must meet certification as Qualified Mental Health Professional – Adult ( QMHP  – Adult) as set forth by Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services. Valid VA driver’s license and good DMV driving record required.  Part-time 50%, 20 hours weekly.  $20,018.19 annually.

Community Services Associate III, Peer Support Specialist

Seeking an individual who is able to establish rapport with individuals with SA and/or co-occurring disorders and their families. Will provide emotional support, transportation, and recovery support to individuals, to include support and education to family members.  Ability to engage with hard to reach populations, perform outreach, and work effectively with team members.  High School graduate or GED plus a sustained personal recovery or be the family member of an individual with a co-occurring or substance use disorder. Community Services Associate I/ Child Care Attendant, PRN at The Women’s Center at Moores Creek

Direct Care Professional III/ Meadowcreek, Day Support

Program Manager II Residential

Region Ten seeks to fill a position in a residential program serving adults with intellectual disability. Position will have responsibility for all aspect of 24-hour operations providing client service planning and delivery, assisting with daily activities, facility management, budgeting recordkeeping and staff supervision. Residential on-call duties are shared among all ADS residential managers in a rotation schedule to prevent the development of extraordinary management burdens. The ability to organize a complex array of integrated services across collaborative teams and manage a large staff in compliance with agency, funding, and regulatory requirements is critical for success. Bachelor’s degree in human services, four years applicable work experience in human services, including one year of supervision experience, is required. Pediatric Speech Therapist

Student Assistance Specialist (11-Month Position) /Prevention

School-based position providing assessment, support and crisis intervention services focused on short-term stabilization, including mental health assessment and clinical interventions.  Incumbent will provide behavioral coaching, role-modeling, psycho-education/ skill building, counseling and emotional support to children and families.  Will also serve as an outreach specialist providing in-community prevention programs and awareness building activities.  This is an eleven-month position, working mid-August through mid-June and a flexible summer schedule.  Work hours are primarily 8:30 – 5:00 Monday through Friday but may at times be variable based on program and school needs.  Master’s degree plus one years’’ related experience is required.

Clinician II/III, Emergency Services, PRN

Community Associate I, Wellness Recovery Center

Director III, Wellness Recovery Center

Region Ten is seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented individual to serve as the Director for our Wellness Recovery Center. The incumbent will supervise and coordinate the daily operation of a 16-bed 24-hour residential crisis and acute stabilization program serving adults experiencing a mental health crisis.  Responsibilities include the development and coordination of programming to ensure a safe and secure service delivery for consumers admitted through voluntary or Temporary Detention Order (TDO) processes.  The incumbent has responsibility for daily operation, to include hiring, training, and supervision of staff, coordination of court hearing within the facility, ensuring compliance with all licensure and regulatory standards, and effective facility management.  Master’s degree in a related human services field required. All candidates must hold a related license (e.g., LPC, LCSW, RN, Psychologist, Psychiatry). Five years’ experience managing an acute/crisis stabilization program is preferred. Must have a valid VA driver’s license and acceptable driving record. Primary duties include storage, handling and administration of IM, oral and over the counter medications, providing basic medical assessment to include monitoring vital signs, and completion/coordination of lab work. Community Services Associate III, Shift Manager, Assisted Living Facility

Position serves to implement training/ behavioral programs as scheduled for each consumer, counsels and supports consumers during participation in ALF routines and activities, and may attending PSR Day program to assist individual attending. Incumbent acts as the shift manager when working without the presence of the Director or Program Manager. Will facilitate repair of durable and consumer equipment such as glasses, hearing aids or wheelchairs and administer medication, completing accurate MARS. College degree in a human services field or Virginia Certification as an LPN and a valid Virginia’s driver’s license and acceptable driving record are required. Provide serves as part of the Assisted Living Facility tem through supervision of kitchen staff and program in preparing and serving meals for residents of the facility.  Position will plan, staff, coordinate all aspects of meal planning in accordance with state, local and federal regulations, oversee purchasing, and inventory management in accordance with agency budget goals.  Knowledge of safe food handing, universal precautions, cooking/catering skills, along with the ability to ensure health and safety regulations are strictly observed is required in performing work.  Incumbent will develop training programs for new employees, schedule and assign work to be completed independently at a quick pace, and model appropriate adult behavior which residents can respect and will want to imitate.  The ability to read, write and follow oral and written instructions is required.  Valid Virginia driver’s license is preferred.  $36,396.70 annually.
