Case Manager, Mental Health  

Seeking individual with initiative to join a team of compassionate professionals.  The case manager will provide services to adults with a primary diagnosis of serious mental illness.  Our goal is to  promote recovery and foster independence with each individual we serve.  The incumbent assesses each consumer’s strengths and needs, and develops an individual service plan to include linking to needed services and resources, monitoring, and coordinating services.   Serves as a liaison with consumers, families, and service providers.  Bachelor’s degree in human services field and one years’ related work experience required.  Must meet certification as Qualified Mental Health Professional – Adult ( QMHP  – Adult) as set forth by Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services.   Flexible schedule.  Valid VA driver’s license and good DMV driving record required.  $40,036.37 annually/ $19.25 hourly.

Clinician II/III Access/Outpatient

Full time position joining a large and talented group of clinicians who provide a wide range of services to a diverse clientele.  The individual in this position will provide individual and group therapy, treatment planning, and diagnostic assessment for adults seeking services at Region Ten, including individuals with mental health and substance use disorders.  Required skills for this position include individual and group counseling, knowledge and competence with a variety of approaches including brief interventions and motivational interviewing, assessment and evaluation, and basic knowledge of the service system to which referrals will be made.   Master’s degree in a licensure eligible field and license eligible status within 6 months of hire is required.  LCSW or LPC licensure is preferred.

Clinician II: Must be licensure eligible in Virginia or registered within 6 months of hire.  $44,040.00 annually.

Support Staff II, Payee Office

Incumbent will be responsible for data entry of budgets and/or check requests. Program Manager II Residential

Region Ten seeks to fill a position in a residential program serving adults with intellectual disability. Position will have responsibility for all aspect of 24-hour operations providing client service planning and delivery, assisting with daily activities, facility management, budgeting recordkeeping and staff supervision. Residential on-call duties are shared among all ADS residential managers in a rotation schedule to prevent the development of extraordinary management burdens. The ability to organize a complex array of integrated services across collaborative teams and manage a large staff in compliance with agency, funding, and regulatory requirements is critical for success. Bachelor’s degree in human services, four years applicable work experience in human services, including one year of supervision experience, is required. Region Ten is seeking to fill a position on the PACT program serving adults with serious mental illness.  The incumbent is responsible for providing intensive community treatment services to this population.  Work includes thorough assessment of needs, development and implementation of individual service plans, medication management, and training in functional skills such as activities of daily living, social skills, interpersonal relationships, financial management, etc.  Position requires strong organizational and time management skills, excellent writing skills, flexibility, and self-motivation. Community Services Associate I, Wellness Recovery Center

The incumbent will serve as the agency’s primary policy analyst and will manage the agency’s quality assurance and electronic health records staff. Will be responsible for staying current with all statutes, researching impact to the agency, and generating policy and procedure recommendations. Will also provide needs assessment data, planning information, in-house evaluations, and other documents as needed regarding overall agency functioning. Newly created position to serve as a Nurse with region Ten’s Town Creek Assisted Living Facility in Lovingston, VA.  Incumbent has responsibility for providing delivery and administration of medications as well as providing consultation to other clinical staff regarding consumer health care issues.  Graduation from an accredited program and licensed to practice in VA as a LPN required.  Knowledge of substance abuse and serious mental illness and related medical issues, psychopharmacology and medication side effects is essential for success.  Full time position.  Salary negotiable

Food Service Assistant II, Town Creek Assisted Living Facility in Nelson, PRN

Responsible for providing food preparation and service complying with safe food handling techniques.  Will maintain clean food preparation areas and equipment, stock food products and supplies, lifting up to 50 pounds, and interact with residents in a positive manner while adhering to confidentiality policy at all times.  Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions and a knowledge of safe food handling and universal precautions is required. Must be able to cook and serve a wide variety of meals and food types, including special diet orders under the supervision of the Food Services Coordinator. Valid Virginia driver’s license is preferred. Hourly rate negotiable.
