Clinician II/ III

Full time position joining a large and talented group of clinicians who provide a wide range of services to a diverse clientele.  The individual in this position will provide individual and group therapy, treatment planning, and diagnostic assessment for adults seeking services at Region Ten, including individuals with mental health and substance use disorders.  Required skills for this position include individual and group counseling, knowledge and competence with a variety of approaches including brief interventions and motivational interviewing, assessment and evaluation, and basic knowledge of the service system to which referrals will be made.   Master’s degree in a licensure eligible field and license eligible status within 6 months of hire is required.  LCSW or LPC licensure is preferred.  Salary negotiable.

Community Services Associate III, Peer Support Specialist

Seeking an individual who is able to establish rapport with individuals with SA and/or co-occurring disorders and their families. Will provide emotional support, transportation, and recovery support to individuals, to include support and education to family members.  Ability to engage with hard to reach populations, perform outreach, and work effectively with team members.  High School graduate or GED plus a sustained personal recovery or be the family member of an individual with a co-occurring or substance use disorder. A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. Personal experience in recovery is required; 2 years of sobriety is recommended. Engagement Specialist

The incumbent functions as engagement specialist for the Access and Adult Clinical Services of Region Ten, handling engagement activities with consumers enrolled within the center.  Duties require proceeding alone under standard practices with referral of questionable situations to the supervisor.  Duties include contacting consumers scheduled for services to identify an barriers to attendance as well as assisting with addressing these barriers, monitoring consumer engagement in services, as well as referring and linking consumers to agency services and other human service programs.  Knowledge of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Diagnosis and Services, community resources, Microsoft Office Suite, interview techniques, and standard office practices and procedures required.  Bachelor’s Degree required.

Support Staff II, Access and Adult Clinical Servcies, Part Time/ 50%

Position serves at the front desk to welcome visitors to the facilty and answer/direct phone calls using a multi-line phone system.  Incumbent will greet visitors, montor the waiting room, and perform check-in/ check-out procedures with consumers assigned to the agency and/or reporting for same day access, to include collecting and processing payments.  Will schedule appointments, update information in charts, and connect conumers to financial and registration staff as necessary.  Abilty to maintain and present a professional demeanor, to include interacting with difficult people, communicate with a diverse  populations, and to stay organized are necessary is essential to success in this position.   Work schedule is 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 4:30 – 8:30 p.m.

Direct Care Professional III/ Meadowcreek, Day Support

Program Manager II Residential

Region Ten seeks to fill a position in a residential program serving adults with intellectual disability. Position will have responsibility for all aspect of 24-hour operations providing client service planning and delivery, assisting with daily activities, facility management, budgeting recordkeeping and staff supervision. Residential on-call duties are shared among all ADS residential managers in a rotation schedule to prevent the development of extraordinary management burdens. The ability to organize a complex array of integrated services across collaborative teams and manage a large staff in compliance with agency, funding, and regulatory requirements is critical for success. Bachelor’s degree in human services, four years applicable work experience in human services, including one year of supervision experience, is required. Director III, Wellness Recovery Center

Region Ten is seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented individual to serve as the Director for our Wellness Recovery Center. The incumbent will supervise and coordinate the daily operation of a 16-bed 24-hour residential crisis and acute stabilization program serving adults experiencing a mental health crisis.  Responsibilities include the development and coordination of programming to ensure a safe and secure service delivery for consumers admitted through voluntary or Temporary Detention Order (TDO) processes.  The incumbent has responsibility for daily operation, to include hiring, training, and supervision of staff, coordination of court hearing within the facility, ensuring compliance with all licensure and regulatory standards, and effective facility management.  Master’s degree in a related human services field required. All candidates must hold a related license (e.g., LPC, LCSW, RN, Psychologist, Psychiatry). Region Ten’s recruitment efforts to staff the new assisted living program in Lovingston is underway!  Motivated and enthusiastic applicants are being sought to fill multiple roles supporting the safe and effective provision of service to adults with mental illness, and mental illness with substance use disorder diagnosis.  

 

Community Services Associate III, Shift Manager, Assisted Living Facility

Position serves to implement training/ behavioral programs as scheduled for each consumer, counsels and supports consumers during participation in ALF routines and activities, and may attending PSR Day program to assist individual attending. Incumbent acts as the shift manager when working without the presence of the Director or Program Manager. Will facilitate repair of durable and consumer equipment such as glasses, hearing aids or wheelchairs and administer medication, completing accurate MARS. College degree in a human services field or Virginia Certification as an LPN and a valid Virginia’s driver’s license and acceptable driving record are required.
