Case Manager, Project Link/ Family Treatment Court

Opportunity to be a  part of a positive, recovery-oriented and strengths-based team.  Will serve as Case Manager for Project LINK, with specific focus on clients in Family Treatment Court, a multi-disciplinary program which seeks to help parents who struggle with addiction regain custody of their children.  To ensure the safe and efficient operation of the program, a valid Virginia Driver’s License plus an acceptable driving record as issued by the Department of Motor Vehicles are required.  For business use of a personal car, a certificate of valid personal automobile insurance must be provided.  Must have Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services Field or Licensure as a registered nurse in the state of Virginia and at least one year of direct experience working with individuals with substance use or co-occurring disorders, or CSAC/CSAC Assistant certification or currently under supervision to receive CSAC/CSAC Assistant certification.    $40,036.37 annually.

Direct Care Professional III/ Meadowcreek, Day Support

Program Manager II Residential

Region Ten seeks to fill a position in a residential program serving adults with intellectual disability. Position will have responsibility for all aspect of 24-hour operations providing client service planning and delivery, assisting with daily activities, facility management, budgeting recordkeeping and staff supervision. Residential on-call duties are shared among all ADS residential managers in a rotation schedule to prevent the development of extraordinary management burdens. The ability to organize a complex array of integrated services across collaborative teams and manage a large staff in compliance with agency, funding, and regulatory requirements is critical for success. Bachelor’s degree in human services, four years applicable work experience in human services, including one year of supervision experience, is required. Clinician I/II/III – PACT

Region Ten is seeking to fill a newly created position on the PACT program serving adults with serious mental illness.  The incumbent is responsible for providing intensive community treatment services to this population.  Work includes thorough assessment of needs, development and implementation of individual service plans, medication management, and training in functional skills such as activities of daily living, social skills, interpersonal relationships, financial management, etc.  Position requires strong organizational and time management skills, excellent writing skills, flexibility, and self-motivation. Must meet certification as Qualified Mental Health Professional – Adult (QMHP–Adult) as set forth by Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services.  Valid VA driver’s license and acceptable driving record is required.  The schedule is primarily weekdays 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. with some evening (12 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.) shifts and one or two Saturdays or Sundays per month.  Supervision for licensure available.

Position works as part of the Child & Adolescent Community Based Services team by providing crisis intervention services to children and families, primarily in home, school and other clinically-appropriate community settings. Student Assistance Specialist (11-Month Position) /Prevention

School-based position providing assessment, support and crisis intervention services focused on short-term stabilization, including mental health assessment and clinical interventions.  Incumbent will provide behavioral coaching, role-modeling, psycho-education/ skill building, counseling and emotional support to children and families.  Will also serve as an outreach specialist providing in-community prevention programs and awareness building activities.  This is an eleven-month position, working mid-August through mid-June and a flexible summer schedule.  Work hours are primarily 8:30 – 5:00 Monday through Friday but may at times be variable based on program and school needs.  Master’s degree plus one years’’ related experience is required.

Community Associate I, Wellness Recovery Center

Wellness Recovery Center is a short-term residential mental health crisis stabilization center.  Residents at WRC are generally high functioning, delightful individuals experiencing symptoms of stress due to recent crisis.  Duties include admission/ discharges, hourly checks, some light cleaning and laundry, observation and documentation of consumers’ self-administration of their medications, as well as supportive care to our residents, as needed.  Some knowledge of mental health or substance abuse helpful.  Great team environment providing a fantastic opportunity for those seeking to gain experience toward meeting Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP-A) standards.  Standard schedule include one weekend day or evening shift per week, and usually includes a mix of days and evenings the rest of the week.  Training is provided. Full time and PRN positions available.  Hourly rate is negotiable.

Director III, Wellness Recovery Center

Region Ten is seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented individual to serve as the Director for our Wellness Recovery Center. The incumbent will supervise and coordinate the daily operation of a 16-bed 24-hour residential crisis and acute stabilization program serving adults experiencing a mental health crisis.  Responsibilities include the development and coordination of programming to ensure a safe and secure service delivery for consumers admitted through voluntary or Temporary Detention Order (TDO) processes.  The incumbent has responsibility for daily operation, to include hiring, training, and supervision of staff, coordination of court hearing within the facility, ensuring compliance with all licensure and regulatory standards, and effective facility management.  Master’s degree in a related human services field required. All candidates must hold a related license (e.g., LPC, LCSW, RN, Psychologist, Psychiatry). Five years’ experience managing an acute/crisis stabilization program is preferred. Must have a valid VA driver’s license and acceptable driving record. Program Manager I, Center for Emergency Services and Short Term Stabilization

Reporting to the Senior Director of Region Ten’s Emergency and Short Term Stabilization Center, the position will provide administrative management support for the Wellness Recovery Center, The Womens Center at Moore’s Creek and the Mohr Center.  In addition to coordinating daily schedule and staff assignments ensuring all shift are adequately staffed, the position will supervise the PRN staffing pool position within these programs.  Valid VA driver’s license and good DMV driving record required.  Two years of mental health experience, two years of administrative experience, and two years of supervisor experience are required.  Bachelors degree preferred; licensure in a health related field is also preferred.  Salary negotiable starting at $48,444.00 annually.

Peer Wellness Coach, Part-time, 80%

Primary duty is to advocate for a recovery, wellness and quality of life model in all domains of activity.  Will work closing with the Primary and Behavioral Health Clinic Integration Director and Clinic staff in coordinating and implementing evidenced based practices toward health and wellness.  Will assist member to develop and implement their personal wellness program and provide support and education related to physical fitness, nutrition, and wellness.  College degree and firsthand knowledge of mental healthcare system through personal recovery, family experience or active community involvement is preferred.  Salary negotiable.

Community Services Associate III, Peer Mentor PRN

Senior Director, Center for Emergency Services and Short Term Stabilization

Region Ten Community Services Board seeks to fill the position of Senior Director for its newly reorganized Center for Emergency Services and Short Term Stabilization.   Region Ten CSB, situated in the beautiful foothills of Virginia’s Blue Ridge Mountains, serves adults and children living in the City of Charlottesville and the counties of Albemarle, Greene, Fluvanna, Louisa and Nelson through the provision of mental health, intellectual disability, crisis and substance use services.  As a Senior Director, the incumbent is an integral part of the Agency’s Leadership Team and will direct the overall management and operations of the Center’s program. This position oversees Emergency Services, Wellness Recovery Center – a 16-bed crisis and acute stabilization unit, The Women’s Center at Moores Creek– an 8-bed women’s substance use treatment facility, and Mohr Center – a 14-bed men’s substance use treatment and detoxification facility.  An insightful and systems-oriented leader with a passion for these specialty areas who is able to develop teams and model services to affect desired outcomes will enjoy fulfilling this role.  The right candidate must be a LCSW or a LPC with 5 years of increasingly responsible experience working in the fields of emergency services, substance abuse, and crisis stabilization fields and must demonstrate a successful, progressive management and personnel supervision history to support a senior level manager position.   $85,821.51 minimum starting salary, negotiable.

Psychiatrist or Nurse Practitioner

Program Manager II

Incumbent assists the Director with clinical training, staffing, coordinating of program services and supervision of staff.  Will provide on call clinical and administrative consultation for staff during evening and night hours as needed, and full programmatic leadership in the absence of the Director.  Positions requires one to collaborate with state hospital liaisons to promote successful hospital discharges, ensure program efforts are coordinated to develop linkages and communication with providers and resources, and will provide ongoing consultation to collateral agency staff regarding mutual consumers.  Maintain necessary casework records and documentation of provision of services for Medicaid reimbursement.  A master’s degree in a health related field, licensed or licensure eligible in a health related field, and two years of experience is required.
