• Free Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Class for Veterans

  Region Ten Community Services Board and The UVA Mindfulness Center have come together to offer this free class for Veterans of any era. This has been demonstrated to reduce stress and decrease symptoms of PTSD.

  Region Ten's staff psychiatrist, Dr. David Silver will be your instructor. Dr. Silver has offered a mini Mindfulness and Stress Reduction course to our staff and they have reported benefitting from the experience. Please distribute the attached flyer to your consumers, family members, community partners. ALL ARE WELCOME!!! Registration as indicated on the flyer. This course is normally offered at a charge of $400.00.
