Due to the current pandemic, Region Ten has closed all buildings to the public until further notice.
Face to Face Services
We are continuing to provide 24/7 Emergency Services by calling 434-972-1800. We are also still providing PACT, Town Creek Assisted Living (ALF), ID/DD/MH residential homes, and some crisis stabilization services in person.
Region Ten will no longer be scheduling intakes and will offer same-day appointments on a first-come, first-serve basis beginning Tuesday, December 1, 2020. Adults who live in Charlottesville or Albemarle County may call 434-970-2183 or 434-972-1800 for same day appointments, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30 am and 12:00 pm.
Region Ten Access intake appointments continue to be offered via telehealth only, and usually take up to two hours. Individuals may prepare for their intake by downloading zoom onto their phone or device in preparation for their intake appointment. Region Ten also has an available telehealth office on site at the Peterson Health Center (800 Preston Avenue in Charlottesville) for individuals who are unable to participate in remote services. This can be accessed by connecting with support staff when calling the numbers listed above.
To set up your intake appointment for county locations, please call your local Region Ten office between 8:30 am – 5:00 pm on weekdays.
The Mohr Center and the Wellness Recovery Center are accepting clients on a limited basis. The Women’s Center at Moore’s Creek has temporarily suspended admissions. Please call 434-972-1800 for more information.
Blue Ridge House, Horizon and Friendly Oaks clubhouses and Meadowcreek Center have also suspended face to face services. Case managers and day program staff are calling and providing support to those consumers in the safety of their homes.
Please remember this is a fluid situation and changes are expected as the virus is diagnosed in our area. Please check back regularly for updates.
