Event Panelists:

John Hagerty – Public Affairs Specialist and Spokesperson for the Virginia Lottery. John manages the Virginia Lottery’s award-winning Problem Gambling and Play Responsibly Program. The campaign works to raise public awareness of problem gambling and gambling addiction, and encourages people who think they or a loved one may have a problem to seek help.

Carolyn Hawley, Ph.D., CRC – Dr. Hawley currently serves as the President of the Virginia Council on Problem Gambling and is on the Board of Directors for the National Council on Problem Gambling. She is also an Associate Professor in the Department of Rehabilitation Counseling, College of Health Professions, at Virginia Commonwealth University.

Michael Menefee – Program Manager, Charitable and Regulatory Programs for the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.
