At Region Ten, we believe the people who use our services—and the families who support them—should have a voice in how we grow and improve.
That’s why we are creating a new Peer & Family Advisory Council (PFAC). And before we get started, we want to hear from you!
What is the Peer & Family Advisory Council?
The Peer & Family Advisory Council will be a group of people who have experience with Region Ten services. This may include:
- People who currently receive services from Region Ten
- Family members or caregivers of current Region Ten consumers
Our goal is to include council members from across our mental health, substance use, and intellectual/developmental disability services and the different communities we serve. By bringing together people with different experiences, we hope the council can represent the many voices, needs, and perspectives of Region Ten consumers and families.
Council members will meet regularly to share ideas, give feedback, and help Region Ten better understand the needs of the people and families we serve.
The goal is simple: we want to make sure the voices of consumers and families are part of how this council is built.

Help Us Build the Council
Before the Peer & Family Advisory Council begins, we are holding input sessions to hear directly from our community.
These are informal meetings where we will share more about what the council may look like. More importantly, we want to hear what you think it should look like!
We want your ideas about what would make you feel comfortable participating, when and where council meetings should be held, and how Region Ten can make sure consumer and family voices are heard.
Family members and caregivers are encouraged to attend, too! You do not have to receive Region Ten services yourself. If you are a family member or caregiver of someone who currently receives services from Region Ten, your experience and ideas are important to us.
Remember, you do not have to commit to joining the council if you attend an input session. You can simply come to learn more, ask questions, and share your ideas.
Join an Upcoming Input Session
We are offering in-person and virtual input sessions featuring information specific to the type of service you or your family member receives. Choose the option that works best for you!
Our in-person sessions will also have snacks, refreshments, and Region Ten swag. There is a chance to win door prizes🎁at all of our sessions!
