National Medal of Honor Day is on March 25, 2024. The day honors the sacrifice and valor of the nation’s heroes. It was established by Congress in 1991 to “foster public appreciation and recognition of Medal of Honor recipients”. The day provides an opportunity for the public and Medal of Honor recipients to “pause and reflect on the importance of service and sacrifice”.
