About the Course: Workshop Summary/Synopsis: This 4-hour introductory training offers mental health professionals a practical and evidence-informed overview of Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), also known as “tapping.” EFT is a mind-body approach that combines elements of cognitive therapy and exposure with acupressure through tapping on meridian points. This technique is used to regulate the nervous system, reduce emotional distress, and support trauma recovery. Participants will learn the theoretical foundations of EFT, review emerging research, and practice core techniques for immediate application with clients. This course is ideal for clinicians seeking accessible, somatic tools to support emotional regulation, especially in trauma-informed care.

Target Audience: Behavioral Health Professionals
Content Level: Beginner

About The Instructor: Lisa Duez, LCSW, EMDR Approved Consultant, is a seasoned trauma therapist and educator with over 20 years of experience in clinical practice and supervision.
