The Peterson Counseling Center – 800 Preston Avenue

The Peterson Counseling Center is our main Charlottesville/Albemarle outpatient therapeutic site. The Peterson Counseling Center is named after the longest-running Region Ten Executive Director, James Peterson, who served from 1971 until 2004. This site houses adult mental health and substance use outpatient services, psychiatric and medication services, the program of Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) program, Adult Mental Health Case Management services, the Neighborhood Family Health Center, and Genoa Pharmacy.
